Photoshop for beginners Part 33 l How to make a modern Business class in Photoshop 2022-Golden Rules

 Hi, this is Akash.

In this class, I will show you how to make a very simple business card within a few minutes.

First, change the Height and width mode into inches and rename the “New Document”.

The width will be 3.5 inches and Hight will be only 2 inches. Resolution will be 300px.

Make sure your color mode is “Lab color” because we will print from a lab.

And then hit “Create”.

Select “Rectangle Tool” and draw a box here. Click on “Fill” to change the color.

Create another shape here then hit enter then CTRL+T or CMD+T for open transform,

Click right here and press distort. Drag from this corner Shift+Left key to up.

Double click here to open “Layer Style” and drop a shadow.

Then hit Ok. We will change the 2nd shape's color to Red.

Click CTRL+T or CMD+T to open transform and rotate the shape a little bit.

Make sure you have unchecked this icon here so that you can shrink the shape a little amount.

Make another shape here, CTRL+T or CMD+T to open the transform and hit right to select distort.

And drag the corner down to adjust with our 1st shape.

Now bring the “Rectangle 3” to the bottom. So that the 1st and 2nd layers remain up.

Double click here to drop a shadow. To adjust the 3rd shape properly first select the layer and press the keyboards arrow key to adjust it.

Now select “Type tool” select any font you like and write your company’s name and a small paragraph. Now we will open the “logo or you can say symbol shapes” PSD file so that I can bring some icons to my current project.

I think I showed you to use the type tool in my prev: classes so I hope I don’t have to go into details about it now. Just follow my steps to get there.

Now select the “line tool” choose the fill color as black and make the stroke size only 2px.

To make underline here.

Hit Shift+Left key to drag the line to the right.

You must hold shift+left key so that line goes straight.

I think the color of the font should be black, select all these text layers to change the color.

Now we are good. Please select the “Background layer and make a new layer.

Then take a “Levels” layer and reduce the light a little bit.

Now we are good.

We forget to add shadow to our fist shape. Just select and double-click to drop a shadow.

We are good now?
