  How to save small shapes in Illustrator. Hi dear, this is your host Akash. In this class I will show you how to export logos and some element from the same document but separately. As you can see this news paper template. I exported the logo and some other elements separately by using slice tool. So, one of my clients just gave me this work and he wants this logo, name and the barcode exported in PNG format. So, how can we cut and export. Let’s start the class. Just select the slice tool and create a mark on this logo. Then the name. You can move the slice by selecting the slice selection tool. Or you can press your keyboard arrow key and move the slice’s selection. Then please select the barcode. Then please go to file and export then save for web. Please select PNG-24. And please select “selected slices”. As you can see only the barcode is selected now. That is why the barcode only will be export in PNG format. Change the fill color left one is red and the right one is yellow. (This Tutorial Does not Need any source file to practice) You can see there is 5 deferent shape in here. We will copy color from this 4-little shape to the big one. Let’s select the selection tool and select the larger shape then select the eyedropper tool. After selecting the Eyedropper tool click on any shape to copy the color. Double click on gradient tool so that you can change the angle or the color. You can remove the shape and add some new shape and practice more. You can cerate 4 shapes again and change the color for each shape. Go to window and click on swatches then click on new color group and save the color group. It can also be used to blend color and transparency. There are various forms of this tool you can choose from depending on how you want to use the gradient tool in illustrator. You can choose to create these types of gradients. Let’s select the rectangle tool and let’s draw a box. Make sure there is no fill color. Now click on this gradient icon double time then you will see the gradient box. 1st one is linear gradient click on this and get a gradient effect, 2nd one is radial gradient. The puppet wrap tool, when you select the tool it will set few anchor points automatically. Select these anchor points and please hit your delete key so that you can delete it.
