 Hi, this is Akash your host. In this class, I will show you how to resize an image in photoshop.

Please download these 2 images from the description.

You can see this picture’s dimension is 1280 and 720p.

But want to make it in 1080p.

So how would you do that?

Open this image with Photoshop, Please.

Please go to image then image size. Your width will be 1920 and the height will be 1080p.

Then hit ok. CTRL+Zero or CMD+Zero to fit to display.

You can see we have increased the image’s dimension.

We can save the image as PNG and check the properties again.

Now we will see how to decrease the image’s dimension without losing image data.

This image’s dimension is too large. We will make 1080p.

Please open this image with photoshop.

The width will be 1920p and the height will be 1080p.

CTRL+Zero or CMD+Zero to fit to display.

You can see we haven’t lost any image data here.

Save this PNG and let’s check the properties again.

You can see in the detail tab this picture’s dimension is now 1920 by 1080p.
