Photoshop for beginners - Part 41 l How to place your shape icon to ice-cream cup

Hi Dear, This is Akash your host.

So, let’s start our class. You have to download the source files first.

Open this image with Photoshop, please. Select Text Tool, please.

Type “New Edge” then select the move tool and move the text middle of this canvas.

Hit CTRL+T or CMD+T to open free transform. Enlarge the text’s height.

Please check you have unchecked the “aspect ratio” to do that.

Otherwise, this text’s height and length will be enlarged. But we only want to enlarge the height only.

Hit enter. Now double click on this text to select the text only. Go to the window and find “Character” and increase the text’s distance by dragging here.

Click right here and select “Convert to smart object”. CTRL+T or CMD+T to open free transform and hit the right key to select “Distort” and adjust the text with this wall. Just follow the steps.

CTRL+J or CMD+J to copy the layer and rename the first layer as “Shadow”.

Click right and open blending options and provide some bevel and emboss just please follow the steps.

And also provide some “inner shadow”.

Hit ok.

Then double click on the shadow layer to open the “Blending Options” and check on the color overlay.

After that please check on “Drop Shadow” all you have to do is just follow my steps.

Now please hit CTRL+G or CMD+G to fit this shadow layer in a group and also please rename this group.

Now please copy this shadow layer 4 times so that we can increase the depth of shadow.

I think you know how to copy the layer. Just hit CTRL+J or CMD+J 4 times.

Please go to file and open Place Embedded.

Select this same picture and hit the place.

Adjust this layer all over the texts the hit enter key.

Now alt+left key or option+left key to creating a clipping mask.

Now you can download these PSD files and change the text only.
