How to fold a latter in adobe illustrator CC 2022 - Class 31

 Hi Dear, this is your host Akash. In this class I will show you how to fold a text in illustrator CC 2022.

So, let’s start the class. Take a new document and rename it, make sure you have selected the RGB mode because this item is for web only. If we need this item for printing then we would be select CMYK.

Now please adjust the artboard with this illustration window. You can use the hand tool to adjust it.

Select the text tool, font size will be 72 and please write “Q”. Then enlarge it. Then please change the font style, that will be “Arial Rounded MT Bold”.

Now please change the font color.

Select the text and hit right key then “create outlines”.

Select “line segment tool” and follow my step please.

Select selection tool and select text and the line.

Go to window then pathfinder then click on this “divide” icon.

Now please click outside of this text and select the text again and click right then “ungroup” it.

Then click outside of this text again, then select the divided part then hold shift and rotate it.

Then change the color of this divided side.

Go to effects then stylize then drop shadows.

Expand the layer and bring up the divided part to the up.

Again, place a shadow for this lower part.

Now please take a new layer and rename both layers.

Switch off this “Q” layer.

Select the rectangle tool and draw a full shape.

Then select the gradient tool.

And please select the freeform gradient tool.

As you can there is 4 little point, please select and change color. You can select any color.

And now please switch on this “Q” layer.

Select the lower part and use the gradient tool so that we can make a dramatic effect.

And also work for the divided side please.
