Photoshop for beginners Part 23 How to remove hair fringes in photoshop CC 2022

This is our raw image. I have to remove the background. After removing it, there are lots of hair fringes.

We have to remove these hair fringes also. You can see I have completely removed all the fringes.

Let’s start our main task to show you how did I remove all the fringes.

Please download source files from the description. Open this image in your Photoshop.

Select “Quick Selection Tool”

Unlock this main layer. Then press CTRL+J or CMD+J to copy the layer.

Then rename these 2 layers. Layer 0 will be “Main BG”

“Layer 0 copy” will be “Subject”.

Now we will click on “select subject”

Photoshop CC 2022 will be select the girl automatically.

Isn’t it wonderful?

Click CTRL+J or CMD+J to copy only the selected area.

Now you can switch off the first 2 layers to see that hair fringes.

Now select this “subject” layer and bring this image top off that subject layer.

Rotate that image. To do that press Shift+left key and rotate it.

Just follow my steps to place it perfectly and press enter.

Now please select the layer 1, Then click here for find the hue saturation.

Press on it. You can see if I drag that bar our whole picture color is changing.

But we don’t want to do that. We have to change the color mood to “layer 1” only.

To do that please add a clipping mask. Press alt+left key to add clipping mask.

Now only “layer 1” will be affected.

We will reduce the hue for bringing a reddish color.

We can increase the saturation to be more realistic.

you can also play with your Lighten mode.

You can see our hair fringes are absolutely gone.

Now you can work with your blend mode more. Select the “texture” layer to change the blend mode.

You can check every blend mode by just hovering over these modes. You can choose anything you like.

I think hard light is perfect for this image.
