Go to file then press on Place then please download this image from the description and place it on this artboard. Hold your left key and drag it.

So, before we know what is curvature tool, we need to know about the pen tool. But you can check our 5th class that was about pen tool. Although in this class I will show you how to curve the lines with pen tool and also how to curve with curvature tool.

Select the pen tool then starts to draw the lines and drag your 2nd anchor point’s handle to the up so that it will curve. Curve the line carefully, please.

You can see now I am struggling here. I can’t curve this line in the right way. I have to remove the earlier curve effects from the last anchor point. To do that I have to hover my pen tool point on the last anchor point and click on the anchor point to remove curve effects.

Now I can just draw a straight line and curve the line so that it will adjust with the birds open beak.

After that all the steps are just same. You can follow my steps, please never skip the tutorials otherwise you will miss some steps.

Now just reduce the opacity to see through this red color, otherwise, we cannot understand where to put the pen tool pointer.

Now we can remove the image file, just drag it and release it on the delete icon.

So, you can see pen tool is more complex to draw a curvy design. Close the document and create a new one.

Same way please place the bird logo here.

Please rename the bird logo layer. Then select the curvature tool. Now must hold your alt or option key then draw lines. Please follow my every step.

Please change the fill color to red and reduce the opacity.

Now just hold the line from the middle and drag it to the up. Wow isn’t it amazing?
