These are our selection tool Shortcut key is (V), direct selection tool Shortcut key is (A), magic wand tool (Y), lasso tool (Q), pen tool (P), curvature pen tool (shift+), type tool (T), line segment tool (/) and the rectangle tool (M). In this class, we will learn about the magic wand tools and lasso tools. So; guys this is your host Akash. Let’s start our class.

Now we will select the rectangle tool so that we can draw a shape. The stroke will be none and the color will be red. Now please draw a shape. Now select the direct selection tool and select the shape then hold your alt Or Option key and drag the left key to the right so that a new layer will be created with the same shape.

You can also expand the layer panel so that you can see how many layers you created.

Now we can select multiple shapes by holding the shift+left key over our layers and also, we can change the color.

Now we can select the magic wand tool so that we can select the same color’s all shapes within one magic click. As we can see when we click the red color’s shape it automatically selected all the same color’s shape. If you want to select another color with red color then hold shift and then select the blue color. You can see red and blue color’s shapes selected at the same time.

But if you want to remove the selection from any color then hold your alt or option key and click on that grey color. As you can see grey color's the shape is removed wonderfully.

Also, you can change the color easily with this magic wand tool. You can easily select and change the color.

Our last 2 column is green we don’t want to select the 2nd green column. But when we select with the magic wand tool it’s selected all the green shapes. So, let’s use the lasso tool now. Just draw a selection over the last column then it will be selected without selecting the 2nd green column.

Now we can change the color but our changing color option bar is gone. Now we have to go to the window and bring back the properties panel so that we can change the color. Now you can change the color.

And also, we can add the properties panel with our layers panel so that we can find both panels easily. Just drag the layers on the properties panel it will be adjusted.

Lasso tool almost working like magic wand tool. We can hold the shift key to add another selection and you can hold the alt key and remove the selection from any shape.
