 Hi, this is Akash your host. Let’s start the class.

So, let’s start our class. First, take a new document.

Rename this new document, Height will be 1080p and the width will be 1920p.

Bleed will be 20p then hit create.

CTRL+Mouse wheel or CMD+Mouse wheel to adjust the artboard.

So, this is our type tool. Select the type tool please and click on the artboard so that you can type.

When you just put a click mark on that artboard illustrator will type these 2 words called “lorem ispum”.

Expand the layers panel. You can increase the font size from here. Just click backspace to remove “lorem ispum” and type anything you want.

Select the selection tool and now you can move the text layer in the artboard and increase the text size.

Now please type another text here. Increase the size, please. You can change the fill color from here.

Select the selection tool and select the text layer to change its color.

Now we will check what is “area type tool”. Please select the "area type tool" and select the "rectangle tool" to draw a shape. You can change the shape color. Please select the “area type tool”. You can see I cannot type here because I missed the exact spot. Click exact on this location to type. If you are not clicking on the upper border of this shape your text mode will not be active.

You can copy any text from anywhere and simply paste it in the area CTRL+V or CMD+V to paste the texts. You simply reduce the text size or increase it. You can Align it center, left, or right.

You can try with another shape like a rounded rectangle tool, Eclipsed tool, or Polygon tool.

Now we can remove all the layers because we are running out of place and we need to try type with the pen tool. Hope you watched our earlier class, I showed almost everything about pen tools. Please watch that tutorial so that you understand the details about the pen tool.

Just draw a wavy line and select “Vertical type on a path tool”. Click on this path you will see your text is just wonderfully wavy and it is designed vertically. Now you can adjust the text size.

Now I will show you how to type with “type on a path tool” it is almost the same as “Vertical type on a path tool” just draw another line shape with "pen tool" and then select the “type on a path tool”. Then click here to type.

You can try with a wavy line shape.

Select the "vertical type tool" so that we can type vertically. Please now select “vertical area type tool” and draw a star shape. I think now you can understand what is “vertical area type tool”. You can remove all the layers by selecting the first layer and shift+left key on the last layer and dragging all layers on the remove icon and trying the “vertical area type tool” so that you can understand it properly. Now we will check the “touch type tool”. First, select the normal type tool and type “TUCH” and increase the size then select the “touch type tool”. You can select each character separately so that you can increase individual characters. Like you can reduce the height of this “U” character and increase the height of this “C” character. Also, you can increase the width of this “H” character. You can also move this “C” character to the right and your other characters will be adjusted automatically. Now please select the normal type tool and select only the “T” character and change the color from here. Also, you can change the color of this “C” character. Select all characters and you can add strokes to all these characters.
