How to use the Scale Tool, Shear Tool and Reshape Tool in Adobe Illustrator CC 2022 l Class 14
Hi Dear, this is your host Akash. In this class I will show you how to use the Scale, Shear and Reshape tool. So, let’s start our class. Download this document from the description and please open with illustrator.

Please select the selection tool. Then select this whole shape please. Then select the scale tool.
Hold the left key and drag to reduce or increase the size.
Or double click on this scale tool so that you can scale it from this scale bar.
If you scale it from the uniform option it will increase from all sides.
But if you increase the size from Non-Uniform option then you have to set a percentage to horizontal and vertical.
Now please select the rectangle tool then create a box. Then CTRL+C or CMD+C to copy this box.
Then CTRL+F Or CMD+F. Then reduce the size of this copy layer then change the fill color.
You also can do this work by the scale tool.
Please select the rectangle tool then create a box. Then double click on this scale bar please.
Set 80% in this Uniform option. Then hit copy. Then please change the fill color.
Now you can remove all this work.
Please select the rectangle tool then create a long shape. Change the fill color please. Please select the Shear tool. You change the shape by this tool.
Now please CTRL+Z or CMD+Z to undo it. CTRL+C or CMD+C and CTRL+B or CMD+B so that we create a new layer. Select the Shear tool and set an anchor point bottom of this shape. Then drag the shape so that we can create a shadow for this layer.
Now we will check what is the reshape tool and how is it works. Please select the pen tool and change your fill color to none. Stroke color will be black. Just create a line shape here. You increase the stroke size if you like.
Select the reshape tool and play with it. So, what is basically do, this tool just set an anchor point where you click and you can drag that anchor point then you can reshape it.
